It has been a little while since I have posted any adventures. We’ve attended a few pawties, but lately Mommy has been working really hard on her dissertation. I’m not sure why she can’t just show pictures and have someone speak for her like we did for my dogertation? She says it doesn’t work that way for humans.
Mommy has been searching for a doggy designer on Etsy to custom make my cap and gown for graduation! We have to get it ordered so we have time to do my photo shoot at USF! Mommy wants me to walk across the stage with her when she graduates, but past experience in fashion shows says that is not a good idea. I get stage fright, stop walking, and Mommy has to carry me. That would be embarrassing! Mommy could carry me, but I think it would mess up the view of her cap and gown and I would look like a blob in fabric. Graduation fashion is NOT flattering.

In other news, Tom Bentley (my cousin), is turning 9 years old on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019!

I remember when he was just a pup and Mommy thought he was going to live with us! Bahahaha! I showed her! Tom loved to swing his long Doxie body and use his rump to give me bump in an effort to make me play! The problem is I am a dainty, little, 7 pound diva. He is a 13 pound pup! When he bumped me, I would go flying! I decided that I wasn’t having any of that! I hid under the furniture, refused to eat, and lost two pounds. Let’s just say I got my way, as usual. Tom went to live with Grammy and Grampy. Once that happened, I decided he was ok. Now that we’re “more mature” I love Tom Bentley! We snuggle all the time, BUT I still do not want to play with him.

That’s it for now! Stay tuned for more adventures!

Sophia Loren
