Catching Up!

My goodness! Where has the time gone?! Let's do a little catch-up, shall we?

After my birthday, Mommy broke the news that we were not going to Florida for Thanksgiving!!! I was NOT happy. I fully expected to see Grammy and Grampy. I was looking forward to a full turkey dinner. Mommy did have Thanksgiving with her friend here in Kentucky and she did share turkey with us, so it wasn't all bad. But then, she took off to Nashville to see the light displays at the Gaylord Opry! She left me and sissy home ALL DAY.

FINALLY, Mommy did decide we needed to head to Florida, especially when the governor here in Kentucky started closing everything down again due to COVID. I mean seriously?! Dogs don't even get COVD!!! We took our long drive home and it was soooo worth it. Even though December was cooler this year than last year, it was still warm enough to sunbathe!!! Oh, how I love the sun! We also were able to go to our doggy group's Christmas Pawty! It was socially distanced for the hoomans and only ten hoomans were allowed to go at a time, but it was still a good time!!!

Most days, Mommy stayed in her pajammies and watched Netflix. Grammy and Mommy started binge watching a chateau show. They now want to move to France and buy a chateau! In one episode, there was a doxie named Abernathy! His hoomans bought him a huge chateau!!! I am so jealous of Abernathy. Once, when I lived in England...I had a manor house in Hatfield...Those were the days. Sigh....

Anyways, the pup crew snuggled a lot and took walkies in the evenings. I decided to snub my food and treats because I knew if I acted pitiful enough, Grammy would give me better food and snackies and Grampy would pick me up and snuggle me. It totally worked.

Before we knew it, it was the new year and Mommy said it was time to head back home to Kentucky. I was ready, but I really could have used a few more days of sunbathing! We're back in Kentucky now and it is cold. No walkies and no sunbathing. Sissy got all of her hairs cut off in Florida. Mommy was NOT happy. But sissy is staying warm wearing her new donut pjammmies!
