Mommy took me to a pop-up event today. It was called the Dachshund Cafe and was held at a place called The Happenstance in Paternoster Square. There were lots of Dachshunds there, but I was a little shocked because they were all NAKEY!!!!! I was the only girl wearing a dress! Mommy selected my London dress made especially for me by Miss Muffin's Closet! Everyone commented on how pretty I was and how nice my dress looked. Some of the boys had on bow ties. They looked handsome!
Once we checked in, we made our way into the restaurant and that's when things got wild! There were Doxies on tables, Doxies on chairs, Doxies were told to go off leash and run around! It was a free for all! Doxies were running around the place playing and jumping on the several dog beds placed around the restaurant. This was the wildest party I have ever attended, but even so, everyone got along and played well together!
Mommy ordered lunch and of course I got a bite of her cheeseburger. All Doxies were treated to a puppuccino and pupcorn! There was also a barkery featuring handmade, organic doggy treats! Mommy bought me some of those to sample. She also bought some Pawsecco, which she may bring back home to Florida for me to share with my pack. The cafe was decorated with lots of Doxie items. Mommy said she may try to find some of them at the shops to bring home (especially the Doxie marquee lights)!
After the meet-up, Mommy and I walked over to St. Pauls' Cathedral. I posed for Mommy on the steps of the cathedral and in the cathedral garden. By then, I was pooped and ready to head home! As we drove through London, Mommy snapped one more picture of me hanging out the window with the Tower of London in the background.

Stay tuned for more of my adventures!

Sophia
