Today, us pups stayed in while Mommy and Auntie Shannon went exploring. They didn’t take us because they weren’t sure if we could go everywhere with them. They learned just how dog friendly Helen and the surrounding areas really are. The only place dogs weren’t allowed was Babyland General Hospital. Mommy says she was deprived as a child because she never got to visit Babyland. I don’t know what she is talking about?! I’m the ONLY baby she needs!

Babyland General Hospital

Cabbage Patch Kids!

They also found a neat little area called Naccoochee Village. There was an antique shop in a historic house, the Habersham Winery, the Jumping Goat coffee shop, and the Nora Mill Granary! Mommy bought some blueberry muffin mix for Grammy. I sure hope Grammy makes some for me!

Antique store in a house from the 1870s.

Great Winery!

The frozen Peach Bellini was fabulous!!!

Cool coffee and tea shop.

They also explored The Lavender Cottage and Garden, a cute Rustic Home Interior Store, and The Old Sautee General Store. That evening Mommy and Auntie Shannon took us to the restaurant that lets doggies inside called The Old Bavarian Inn & Restaurant. Mommy bought me and sissy Bavarian hats for the occasion. Sissy wouldn’t sit still for a picture, but me and Maddie posed pretty good! The waitresses thought we were “oh so precious” and kept feeding us fresh sliced turkey! We ate THREE plates full! By the time we got back to the cabin we were in a turkey coma!

Rustic Home Interior store with beautiful handmade furniture.

Looking cute in my Bavarian hat!

Maddie and Greta begging for MORE turkey!

We have one more day of adventures before we head home! Stay tuned!

Luvs and Lix,

Sophia
