The Birds and Butterflies

Grammy left us a couple of days ago and I am just now realizing she isn't coming back. I was a bit mopey at first, but now I think I'll be ok. Grammy lets me do things that Mommy says, "No" to and she gives me nibbles of her food! The day after Grammy left, Mommy tried to take me on a walk, but I just wasn't in the mood. I mean, I like to explore, but I am a spoiled stroller girl! Where is my stroller you ask? Mommy left it at home! She said four suitcases, two carry-ons, and me was quite enough to handle without having to worrying about my strolly. I'll show her! I will make her carry me on our walks!

The last two days it has rained. Mommy LOVES the cool weather that the rain has brought, but I'm freezing! Grammy got on a video call with me and Mommy and we picked out some of my sweaters for Grammy to mail to me. I will be stylish and warm!

Late this afternoon the rain stopped and the sun came out! It was wonderful! Mommy took me out back and I watched birds, ducks, and butterflies for almost two hours!!! I even saw a huge squirrel! It was as big as a bunny rabbit!

There's Momma Duck! She has 7 ducklings!

Momma Duck is taking the babies up the Mimram River. I guess she didn't like me watching her babies.

Bye-bye duckies!

Mommy is annoying me. She keeps trying to get me to pose for pictures!

Really Mommy? Really?!?

That's it! I'm going to pretend you're not even here.

Oh my goodness! Does your Mommy disturb your nature watches? I finally had to turn my back and ignore her in order to enjoy the birds and butterflies!
