Uptown Girl!

In preparing for our trip to England, Mommy had to do some thinking. She knows I get a little bit insecure when I don't have my sister Greta or cousins Tom Bentley and Callie Mae around. When I'm not feeling confident, I will NOT walk on a leash. That's why I have a stroller. When I'm in my stroller I am queen of the world! And I feel safe...Mommy knows there is no way we can bring my stroller to England and we are not going to buy a cheap-o stroller when we are in England because the wheels on the cheap ones are no good. So....we went shopping for a carry bag. We ended up in a human store called Brighton. They were very welcoming to me and even had a doggy water bowl at their door. That's always a good sign. Mommy saw the perfect bag, but she wasn't sure if I would fit comfortably in it. Grammy said, "Just pop her in it and see!" Mommy was mortified! She exclaimed, "This is Brighton! Not Petco! We can't put her in the bag! Do you know how much these things cost!?" Then, the sales lady walked up and told us to go for it!!! So in I went. Mommy walked over the mirror and I have to tell you, I did look Divalicious. It is also the perfect length for my Doxie body and quite comfy. The material is made so my fur won't get stuck all over it and tangle AND there are zipper compartments inside so Mommy can carry her essentials like money and whatever. Pawfect!

Mommy started chatting with the sales lady about some Brighton charms she had collected a couple of years ago called "My Flat in London." She explained that she was going to add the charms to my carry bag for some extra "diva-ness." She can take them on and off to dress my bag up or down. The sales lady explained that there are still a few things made here and there for My Flat in London. She showed Mommy a cupcake coin purse. It matched my new bag and the charms Mommy was going to add! Then she found another coin purse with a pink cab on one side and a union jack on the other! She decided we would keep my kibble and snacks in the cupcake purse when we were going out for the day and the pink cab purse for my poopy bags. Both coin purses also fit into my bag pawfectly!

Stroller shmoller! Mommy is going to carry me everywhere in style! If someone tries to pick pocket Mommy, boy will they get a surprise when they reach into the bag! And if I decide I want to grace everyone with my presence and walk a little, I can.
