My Auntie Shannon arrived from Alabama to visit me! I wanted to show her some of England's pretty nature trails and architectural ruins. Mommy helped me pick the perfect trail in the village of Ayot St.Lawrence. This 1.5 mile walkie took us on country roads, trails, open fields, and church ruins.

Here I am getting ready to start the walkie by exploring the St. Lawrence church ruins. It dates back to 1050 A.D.

I feel like Indiana Jones!

Even though there is no roof, special events can be held here.

I wonder if there was a stained glass window here at one point?

After exploring the ruins, we headed off on the trail. It ran behind some homes where horses lived.

Mommy and Auntie Shannon love the house out to the left.

The weather was beautiful for a walkie!

Auntie Shannon likes running, but she slowed down just for me because I don't run, I "Princess Prance."

We took a quick break so I could catch my breath.

Next we entered the New St. Lawrence church yard.

They keep beautiful flowers in the front of the church!

Our walkie ended at an old pub called The Brocket Arms. It has an interesting history and is from the early 16th century!

They have a lovely outside garden with bunnies, birds, and chickens!

After our walkie, we drove home and I passed out! My little princess legs took me as far as they could go!

Stay tuned for more of my adventures!

Luvs and Lix,

Sophia
